Somei-Yoshino (aka: Ronin Yoshino)
A skilled ronin that prefers traveling alone. She’s guarded, haughty, aloof, perfers being alone, observant
& wise. Those who get to know her see that she’s very loyal to her companions. She has a softer side but
she’s too stubborn to show it. Having a strong sence of pride gets her into tight situations. She doesn’t
give up or gets easily discouraged regardless of the situation. Very little is known about her past.

Kagekiri
Yoshino's vassel. He met her a while back when he in his true form & was causing trouble up in the
mountains. Yoshino was hired to slay him, but instead she quelled his spirit and now he follows her. He's
very honest, expressive & protective over Yoshino...but can be thoughtless & careless. He doesn't get
along with too many people, because he tends to tell the truth about others- which they rather not hear.

Kanitsuki, Akatsuki
She’s energetic, quick to learn and has a strong sence of justice. Akatsuki is classy but not a push over,
like Yoshino, she doesn't like taking orders from other people. Her early childhood is a blur to her, only
remembering what happened after she began living in Yoshino's world (which Akatsuki give the name
"Koukai"). She is highly skilled in medicine and practices Qi-Gong, an ancient Chinese martial art.

Katsuwa, Kouyou *Senkoashi-jin
He was once a member of the Juuni Shi (12 zodiac animals) but was exiled and took on a human form. All
Juuni Shi have a specialized power, Katsuwa's power is called Senkoashi, lit."flash feet" the ability to
teleport short distances. He uses Seiki (spirit energy) to manifest a bow & arrow in battle. He's mysterious,
egotistical and a drifter. He's close friends to Shizen, since they know each-other a while back.

Takemaru, Arashi
He greatly desires Yoshino's old sword- Kuroryuga, because it's said to contain mysterious powers. He
believes that if he can harness the sword, he may become Shogun. He is very arogant, selfish &
pig-headed. However, even though he's very fixed on material things, for some odd resond he has a soft
spot for his vassel Shizen. It's difficult to tell what's really going on inside his head.

Tenchimaru, Shizen
Orphaned as a child, he looked up to his sister as if she was his mother. When his sister mysteriously
disappeared, he was taken in by the domain lord Takemaru, Arashi. He taught Shizen to become stronger
and be a powerfull warrior. He looks up to his master, even if Takemaru’s intensions are questionable.
Shizen is unquestionably loyal, possibly due to his naive nature of the world.
