An interresting thing happened- the director of the Sakura Matsuri at Stony Brook saw my video of the festival (which I posted on this site), asked me to do the filming for next years festival & to have a booth to promote my manga! If that wasn't unbelievable enough for us, his dojo just so happens to be down the block! I recall saying how much I wanted to play Taiko- now my dream has come true! Small world, ain't it? Even on the web!

The New York Anime Festival was really great! My fav part was the artist gallery. There was alota Bleach & One Piece Alabasta movie stuff around, lots of cosplayers, Tokyopop & other companies were there. I just loved the kimono booths! I got a mens haori, anime figurines & took lots of pictures. It was very fun, I hope they have it again next year!

This year is the first anime convention held in New York! It'll be on Dec.12th at the Jacob Javis center. Today is also the deadline for the FUNimation contest. I submited my new manga called "Hidesato" to them. Due to their rules I can't post the manga on the web untill the contest is over.

Well, not manga related news, but I had to post what a lucky day it is today! We just got back from upstate NY cause we wanted to buy some land & we bought lot 17 in the nick of time! Lovely 7+ acres with rolling hills, wildflower meadows & a winding stream. The incredible beauty of the mountains is like Middle Earth.
